04 April 2022
The Employability Service Design Toolkit is now available on the Employability in Scotland website.
The Employability Service Design Toolkit has been developed to support partners at a local level implement our commitment to embedding the Scottish Approach to Service Design. It aims to build user-centred design practices by:
· Explaining what we mean by service design;
· Describing the stages of service design;
· Presenting approaches and methods, with templates that help structure service design activity; and
· Providing links to resources for further reading.
The toolkit has been developed in partnership between Scottish Government, Local Government, Third Sector and Private Sector through a range of governance groups and engagement.
The toolkit, which has been published on the 4th of April , will be continuously improved by responding to feedback from partners and providers who are using it. If you have any thoughts on how we could improve this, please get in touch with EmployabilityFeedback@gov.scot.
We are also looking to host sessions on the toolkit which will be open to partners across the country.
The toolkit is available in a PDF version, but we are planning to deliver it in different formats in the future.
